Leather Working Group.

For our Kuvet shoes, bags and belts we only use the best materials from European manufacturers. The leather we use comes from cowhides that are exclusively a by-product of the meat industry. All of the tanneries we work with are certified by the Leather Working Group.

Perfect spring/summer shoe

Let me start by saying that this is my favorite model so far. The SP and S models I own are worn, but the NV has become a staple. Maybe it’s because of the color, but overall I enjoy it slightly more than my other two pairs.

I was skeptical of the thick sole but was surprised by the comfort, weight, and flexibility. Compared to the SP and S model, these took a lot shorter to break in for me and are generally a bit higher volume, which I like, probably due to the overall cut and shallower lacing.

Despite being white, the sole is not as big of a dirt magnet and cleans up nicely with a regular or one of those “magic eraser” sponges.
No discoloration or stains after getting wet on multiple occasions, which is a big plus.

The outsole is grippy, and you feel secure. It’s so grippy, in fact, I even got “stuck” occasionally on smooth floors.

One thing to note is that the sole is a bit higher profile, and if you’re not used to being a bit more off the ground, it can feel weird at first. Coming from wearing mainly barefoot-style shoes, it took a bit of time to adjust.

All in all, I can see myself wearing the NV model for a long time and look forward to future colorways.
